Welcome

Welcome to the Second Edition of The Voice of...A Godly Woman. It is a bit overdue for the schedule I had in mind but I am learning that my timing isn't exactly God's timing. It is within the confines of me continuing to press forward with the vision that God has given me for the A Godly Woman online ministry that leads me to have the content to develop this edition of the newsletter. God has been moving through and in spite of me but I continue to give him all the glory and hope that you will do the same.

This Month's Feature

In the first edition of The Voice of A Godly Woman the feature article was about VISION. In relationship to the vision of the A Godly Woman website it was an easy start. At this point I find it appropriate to continue along those same lines as I continue to go forward with the vision that God has given me. In my case the vision was right there in front of me I just didn't know it. Since that time it has been made very clear that this is something that I am supposed to do and the questions keeps coming up...Now What? As I have been pressing forward over the past few months with this vision I have had a few revelations as to the answer to Now What? So here it goes....

Walking Out The Vision

Establishing the vision for your life can sometimes feel like an overwhelming task. But I have recently found that it's much easier than trying to walk it out as it comes to pass. Once God gives you a vision and you are able to recognize it clearly, where do you go from there? There are different paths you can take to arrive at any given destination, but how do you know which path to take. We all know that there is more than one way to skin a cat but if you please, that is something I would like to do right the first time. The same goes with life. We know that there will be bumps along the way but avoiding unnecessary bumps would be great.

So, pressing on, how do you begin to walk out the vision that has been set before you? This is the question that we will try to work through.

Well one thing is for sure; it takes faith in God to be able to see the vision and it will take that same faith to be able to see it through to fruition. Now something we know from God's word is that "...faith without works is dead." James 2: 26. So you have to take a step. And something else we know is, "The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the LORD.." Psalms 37:23 This speaks volumes to what God has to say about how the vision will come to pass. He ultimately does all of the work but He works through us. We must be willing to go when and where He says go in order for it to get done. This means you must be able to hear from God.

That leads me to the following conclusion: You must have a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus Christ in order for the vision to come to pass. I stress personal because it is one thing to have faith in God and say that you believe for salvation but it takes more, much more, in order for Him to guide you. You MUST submit your will to the Lord’s and the only way to know His will is to know His word. God says that "... all things must be done decently and in order." 1 Corinthians 14: 40. There must be order! There also must be discipline! To be his disciple you must learn and exemplify the very character and nature of God. It is when we activate these principles in our lives that God will lead us to where he would have us go.

Are you ready to walk out God's vision for your life?

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, I invite you to do so right now! Ask the Lord to allow his Holy Spirit to take residence within you at this very moment. Romans 10:9 says that if you “confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved”. That’s all you have to do: believe in him, and accept him. Remember you don't try to get clean before you accept him, you accept him so he can cleanse you!.

If you have accepted Jesus into your life for the first time. Please write to us and let us know so that we might be able to pray for and with you. Also we would encourage you to find a church home as soon as possible so that you might be welcomed personally into the body of Christ and learn better what vision God has established for your life.
