Issues Feature
The second issue of The
Voice dealt with walking out the vision you feel God has
given you. With AGodlyWoman.com being my vision since 2003
and this being only the third issue of TheVoice Newsletter
I can speak from experience that walking out the vision
can sometimes be no easy task. God gives us the vision,
we accept it and try to move forward with it but instead
of allowing God to move us forward we sometimes let our
flesh propel us in the opposite direction. When the enemy
gets wind of the fact that you have made a conscious decision
to work for God, he is going to do everything in his power
to distract you. If we aren't prayed up and meditating on
the word of God continuously it will be easy for the enemy
to succeed. I am guilty of this but with this newsletter
I want to get back on track with what I know God has given
me. I believe that as I walk out the vision that God has
given me, I am called to share these experiences with you.
Stop Running, Just Keep Walking
Over the last three years
I have done quite a bit of running. Running away from what
God has put in me. I recognized the vision and thought that
I was ready to move forward until I fell into the trap of
the enemy. Doubt, fear, and negativity set in which led
to isolation, anger, confusion, and even sickness. As a
child of God all of these are in direct contradiction to
God's word and will for my life.

Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;
but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper
and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
I started working on the
3rd issue of The Voice shortly after the first. I wanted
to move full steam ahead. I was up day and night with a
pen and pad but nothing seemed to be working. I didn't seem
to have the words. I tried to talk to my husband about it
and he wasn't giving me the help I wanted. I consider him
to be the writer of the family so I figured if I just talked
to him about what I wanted to say he could write for me.
Obviously he refused. He said that this was something God
gave to me and I would have to work it out. At that moment
I allowed myself to be consumed with every negative thought
I could think of. "I can't do it." "I need
someone to help me." "Who am I to be called to
do something like this, anyways?" "This isn't
my calling." "I don't even like to write."
"Who is it going to hurt if I don't do this."
WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. The devil.
Right now I want to call
those things out that would sneak up on us as God's people
and seek to destroy us. The devils tactic is to make us
as believers destroy ourselves. If we are not armed with
the full armor of God when the devil proceeds to plant those
bad seeds to misdirect us we will do just that. We must
always be mindful that working for the kingdom can become
an all out war. We can't let our guard down because the
devil surely won't.
Where Did I Go Wrong?
I did not stop to seek
God's direction for the 3rd newsletter. I hadn't studied
any more than I had before the second edition. I started
running when I didn't need to and ended up working backwards.
God's word says in Matthew 6:33...."But seek ye first
the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these
things shall be added unto you." He will give us what
we need to carry out His plans if we just seek Him "first"
every step of the way.
Stay Focused On The Word
For those of you who feel
like God has spoken to you or given you a vision, remember..."Whatever
is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father..."James
1:17 New Living Translation God has already given
you everything you need to make it come to pass. Just
Keep Walking. "So shall my word be that goeth
forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall
prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."(Isaiah 55:11)
Just Keep Walking No need to
be anxious about it either. "Be careful for nothing;
but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known unto God." (Philippians
4:6) Stop Running, Just Keep Walking
SALVATION
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour,
I invite you to do so right now! Ask the Lord to allow his
Holy Spirit to take residence within you at this very moment.
Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth
that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised
him from the dead, you shall be saved. Thats
all you have to do: believe in him, and accept him. Remember
you don't try to get clean before you accept him, you accept
him so he can cleanse you!.
If you have accepted Jesus into your life for the first
time. Please write to us and let us know so that we might
be able to pray for and with you. Also we would encourage
you to find a church home as soon as possible so that you
might be welcomed personally into the body of Christ and
learn better what vision God has established for your life.
